The “Paquet Kongo” traces its lineage to the Kongo Kingdom of Central Africa, where sacred bundles known as nkisi were created to house spiritual forces and protect communities. As these traditions crossed the Atlantic through the trauma of enslavement, they transformed—becoming paquet kongo in Haiti, sacred objects crafted by Vodou priests and priestesses to invoke protection, healing, and ancestral power.

Wrapped in layers of cloth, herbs, feathers, and symbolic elements, each bundle is carefully constructed—often tied seven or nine times, echoing the umbilical cord that connects us to the divine. These objects are not only spiritual tools but also acts of cultural resistance, preserving African cosmologies in the face of colonial erasure.Beneath the folds of silk and thread lies a secret language—the whispered prayers of ancestors, the steady breath of the sacred. Paquet Kongo is not a collection. It is a calling.

Born from the ancestral ground of Haitian Vodou, these sacred bundles hold more than adornment. They hold memory. They hold intention. Each knot, each symbol, each textured layer speaks to a lineage of protection, healing, and unseen power carried through time.
